After the war, SPP will allow energy resources to be saved

In the Kharkiv region, in the Chuguyiv community, five points of invincibility will be equipped with autonomous solar power plants.

The project worth 100,000 euros is being implemented thanks to a grant from the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the mayor reports Galina Minaeva on Telegram.

"Our efforts to find additional financial resources, in particular for the implementation of energy saving projects, have once again yielded positive results," she wrote.

Minayeva explained that alternative power supply in the points of invincibility will allow the community to respond more effectively to the consequences of Russian aggression. In addition, after the war, SES will allow energy resources to be saved.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr and Odesa regions, solar power plants will be installed in the buildings of the Centers for the Provision of Administrative Services (CSP). This is a pilot project worth $18 million, which is being implemented thanks to the help of Korea.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in August 2023 in Transcarpathia, a 10 kW solar power plant was installed on the roof of the Dubivska settlement council building. The station is a hybrid, since such an installation involves a thermal storage of electricity, and therefore makes the building of the settlement council autonomous and practically independent of the functioning of the centralized network.
