There is a network in Poltava shops Aurora Multimarket opened the first full-fledged waste sorting point in the city.

Each visitor to the point will receive bags for further sorting and coffee as a gift, reports the head of the corporate social responsibility department Alyona Zhigura on Facebook.

"This is an excellent opportunity to take a step towards preserving natural resources and reducing the amount of waste," Zhigura wrote. – Together with the Aurora garbage sorting point, you will be able to give things a new life, promote their further processing and reduce the negative impact on the environment."

It is noted that the point will start working on Saturday, June 17, from 8:00 a.m. at the address of the street. Kotlyarevsky, 38/40. You can bring plastic, glass, metal, aluminum and paper for recycling.

"Do not hesitate – join and become part of this ecological movement. For the sake of the future of our planet, every small step is of great importance," Zhigura added.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that they are planning to build a waste processing plant or solid waste processing facility.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Poltava, the point of reception of secondary raw materials offers a free service of psychological and emotional rehabilitation, namely breaking glass bottles with a hammer. Such a practice helps to "let go" of negative emotions.
