Varnishes are used by students and teachers of the institution, as well as residents of the Vystavka microdistrict

In Khmelnytskyi, three benches with solar panels with USB ports were installed with grant funds on the territory of the higher vocational school No. 25.

The power of the panels reaches 40 W, which is enough to charge about 50 mobile phones or other gadgets, reports Preshy Podilskyi.

Lyubov Parkhomyuk, a senior craftswoman of VPU No. 25, said that the benches were installed, in particular, thanks to the help of industrial training masters and students of the institution.

"Such designs arouse general interest and attract attention. This is a unique art object that makes the urban environment more attractive," the article says.

Parkhomyuk emphasized that varnishes are used not only by students of the institution, but also by teachers and residents of the Vystavka microdistrict.

It is noted that the institution plans to continue developing green technologies.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Odesa, mobile operator lifecell installed 7 solar panels at the base station.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Netherlands, in the city of Groningen, a pedestrian path was equipped with special solar panels with a power of 21.5 W and an efficiency of 21.8%. It will be able to generate 55,000 kWh of electricity per year.
