The initiative attracts concerned citizens from all over the country

Students, pupils, parents, and staff of Kryvyi Rih's primary school No. 43 and kindergarten No. 240 have jointly collected 49 kg of plastic lids to buy drones.

This was reported by the local TV channel Rudana on Facebook.

Young and old residents of Kryvyi Rih continue to participate in the initiative “Lids for Enemies”. The lids have already been sent to the OVES charitable foundation. This foundation launched the Wings volunteer project.

The collected lids are sent for recycling, and the proceeds are transferred to the production of Ukrainian UAVs.

The volunteers invite everyone to join their initiative. They reminded that they accept caps from bottles of water, juice and other drinks, milk, yogurt, mayonnaise, ketchup and sauces.

All of them must be clean, free of food or liquid residues to ensure the quality of the raw materials for recycling.

Earlier, EcoPolitic reported that activists of the “Batteries, Surrender!” movement collected and sent 66 tons of used batteries for recycling.
