The first wind turbine of the Ostrovsky wind park was launched in test mode in the mountain village of Nyzhni Vorota in Mukachevo region.

The wind turbine is installed on the border of Lviv and Zakarpattia regions. It is equipped with a 4.8 MW turbine, but the wind farm is currently operating in test mode with a capacity of 1.8 MW.

In terms of technical characteristics, this wind turbine can be classified as a medium-sized wind turbine compared to other wind turbines already operating in Ukraine. It is capable of providing electricity for 3000 households.The first wind farm has started operating in Zakarpattia. Video.
