Artificial intelligence has answered how to restore the nature of Ukraine damaged by the war

Reforestation in war-torn areas is a complex task that requires careful planning and implementation

Artificial intelligence called ChatGPT, which recently became operational in Ukraine, answered the question of how to restore forests damaged by war.

In a few seconds, the program developed a plan for clearing the forest of mines and military equipment, restoring the forest cover and the steps that need to be taken for this, reports Save Planet Earth on Telegram.

The message said that ChatGPT proposed 7 steps for reforestation, namely:

  • Assessment of the scale of damage;

The first step in forest restoration is to assess the extent of the damage. This can be done by conducting surveys and using remote sensing techniques to map the affected areas.

  • Development of a recovery plan;

Based on the assessment, a restoration plan can be developed that takes into account the types of trees that can be grown in the area, the condition of the soil and the availability of water.

  • Cleaning of unexploded shells and other debris;

Before planting trees, the territory must be cleared of mines and other debris. This should be done by trained professionals with the necessary equipment and safety measures.

  • Tree planting;

When the area is cleared, you can plant trees. It is important to choose species that are adapted to the local environment and can grow well in the current conditions.

  • Care and maintenance;

Newly planted trees require care and monitoring to ensure their survival. This includes watering, mulching and protecting the trees from pests and diseases.

  • Progress control;

Regular monitoring of the restoration project is important to assess the success of the project and identify any problems that may arise. This will help to make the necessary adjustments to the plan.

  • Getting help.

There are many organizations that specialize in reforestation projects. These organizations can provide technical expertise, funding, and other resources to support recovery efforts. In addition, government agencies, local communities, and private companies can also play a role in supporting reforestation efforts.

"I liked the logic of the answers. This is a sequential text. Considering the fact that this answer was written by a machine, not a person, and in just a few seconds, the result, in my opinion, is not bad. In fact, AI is starting to be an advisor for a person," the author noted.

As EcoPolitic reported before, research by climatologists with the help of artificial intelligence showed that the world cannot avoid warming of 1.5°C, which will occur between 2033 and 2035.
