The main forest management enterprise of the country was included in the column of the people's elected official with the hashtag #дівнизакупівли

Over the past year and a half, the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” has purchased 327 vehicles. This is the largest figure among all domestic SOEs.

This was announced on Telegram by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

He cited the following statistics:

  • 2024: 141 cars worth almost UAH 154.41 million.
  • 2023: 186 cars for almost UAH 224.37 million.

That is, potentially, if in the second half of the year "Forests of Ukraine" will have the same "appetite" for the purchase of cars as in the first half of 2024, then in the end they will almost double the figure of last year.

"No state-owned enterprise buys so many machines, let alone during a full-scale war. It looks like it's time to force detailed justifications for purchases at the level of the law," Zheleznyak wrote.

On Thursday, July 18, SE "Forests of Ukraine" announced another tender for one car for UAH 1.28 million.

Among the recent acquisitions in June were also 50 passenger cars Renault Duster Life 1.5D for UAH 44.55 million according to the results of this tender .

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, investigators of the BlackBox OSINT project blamed the head of the State Enterprise "Lisa Ukrainy" Yury Bolokhovets that he led illegal logging and corruption in the industry and covers corrupt managers on the ground.

Also we have analyzed progress of the forest reform and made a conclusion about the centralization of corruption in the industry.
