Dry burning often turns into large-scale fires

In Lviv Oblast, rescuers extinguished 39 dry grass fires in one day, March 23, which destroyed more than 4 hectares of dry grass.

During one of the fires, a commercial building burned down, and the fire almost destroyed 3 houses, reports the main administration of the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region on Facebook.

The press service said that in the village of Maly Polyukhiv, Lviv district, a fire from burning dry grass lasted for about 4 hours. It was liquidated by 4 rescuers and 1 unit of special equipment.facebook.com/LVIVDSNS

"The building was not destroyed by the hands of the occupiers, it is our Galician "masters" who are burning the dry grass," the press service emphasized. – Very often dry burning turns into large-scale fires, where the fire spreads to residential buildings, where the fire takes people's lives."

The State Emergency Service emphasized that it was possible to save 3 buildings.

The press service emphasized that violators will be fined for setting fire to dry grass:

  • for citizens from UAH 3,060 to UAH 6,120;
  • for officials UAH 15,300 to UAH 21,420.

"Such management brings only trouble," the rescuers emphasized.
