Over 16 million UAH were damaged in the air of Kyiv Region in one week

In the Kyiv region, the most large-scale environmental violations of the week were discovered

In Kyiv region, eco-inspectors calculated about 16.8 million hryvnias in damages due to air pollution, in particular from the activities of the utility company "Irpinvodokanal" (12.3 million hryvnias) and LLC "Interagroinvest" (4.5 million hryvnias).

The enterprises did not have the appropriate permission to emit pollutants into the air, the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the companies were presented with a claim for damages.

The message emphasized that in Kyiv region discovered the most large-scale violations of environmental protection legislation in the week since September 15 to 21.

She also became the anti-leader of the week Transcarpathian region. Thus, a claim for the amount of 614 thousand hryvnias was presented to Volovetsky KP "Agroshlyakhbud" for the destruction of young trees aged 6-10 years in the territory of the Nizhnevoritsky Forestry. The eco-inspectors handed over the materials to the regional prosecutor's office.

It is noted that during the week, eco-inspectors conducted 103 control measures and drew up 306 protocols on administrative offenses. The total amount of fines imposed reached 90 thousand hryvnias. 86 thousand hryvnias were charged to the State budget.

The press service added that:

  • damages in the amount of UAH 182 million were calculated for violating the requirements of environmental protection legislation;
  • the total amount of submitted claims and lawsuits is UAH 18.2 million;
  • Voluntary and compulsory damages were recovered in the amount of UAH 1.1 million.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Kyiv region, the court decided to charge an enterprise in Bila Tserkva 3.5 million UAHin environmental damages for air pollution.
