Entrepreneurs from Mukachevo will be able to install green power plants with the city's money

In 2023, entrepreneurs have already received 2 million hryvnias in compensation

In Mukachevo, Zakarpattia Oblast, small and medium-sized business entrepreneurs will be able to receive compensation from the community budget for installing alternative sources of energy supply.

This is reported by the press service of the Mukachiv City Council.

It is noted that entrepreneurs can compensate part of the costs for installing:

  • generators;
  • accumulator batteries;
  • solar panels;
  • wind generators;
  • heat pumps, etc.

The message emphasized that in 2023, entrepreneurs have already received 2 million hryvnias in compensation.

A similar program operates in other cities of Ukraine. And Vinnytsia subjects of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises receive partial compensation for the installation of autonomous green power sources.

This will help reduce the load on the power system and ensure partial operation of enterprises during probable blackouts. In addition, it will help reduce carbon emissions.

Earlier, EcoPoitic wrote, that in Mukachevo, in Zakarpattia Oblast, a water intake station was equipped with solar panels with a capacity of 20 kW. In clear weather, the SES fully meets the needs of a small water intake.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the solar power plant installed on the roof of the Kostopil glass factory (Rivna region) in just one month, thanks to its work, helped to reduce the company's emissions by 98 tons CO2.
