NABU and SAPO detectives searched the office of Andriy Hrytsan, a prosecutor with the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office, in a case of soliciting and receiving an undue benefit.

The search was conducted as part of the case against Oleksandr Maslov, chief operative of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police. According to the investigation, he asked and received $150 thousand from the businessman for closing the case and returning the property.
As part of this proceeding, NABU detectives searched the prosecutor of the Environmental Prosecutor's Office, Hrytsan, and seized his iPhone 12 Pro, which was arrested and recognized as material evidence. They found correspondence related to the Maslov case.
According to the investigation, Oleksandr Maslov, the operational commissioner of the DSR of the National Police, informed the owner of 3 private companies that he could resolve the issue of ending the criminal prosecution opened against him in July 2023 for a bribe in the amount of $150-180 thousand. He repeatedly met with the brother of this businessman and expressed a request to provide the specified amount of money for closing the case and returning the property for myself, officials of the DSR, the Main Investigative Department of the NP and the Prosecutor General's Office.
Maslov was detained in April 2024 after receiving a $150,000 bribe through an intermediary lawyer.
