Anna Bila, a resident of Lutsk, and her 7-year-old daughter Emma walk along the eco-trail in the "Kivertsiv Forestry" in the village of Garazja almost every day, where they collect garbage left by other visitors.

Sometimes they collect so much garbage that it completely fills the trunk of their car, reports the Polissky Forestry Office on Facebook.

The report said that when the family comes to the forest, they put on gloves, take a bag and, while walking, collect garbage. It is especially abundant near benches and information stands.

"We have loved to walk here for a long time. Before, there was no such beauty on this path, just a path in the forest. And then the entrance gate appeared. Recently, everything was improved: the path was filled with crushed stone, benches were installed, there was a game with rings, a path made of stumps, these incredible signs with meters, pointers. People immediately increased. And garbage too, unfortunately. Coffee cups, bottles, bags. There were times, even socks were found under the bench. That's why I wanted to clean it up, at least in some way to thank for what is for us they made such a beauty," said Anna.

She added that before, her daughter was not very fond of walking in the forest, but after installing the ring game and the tree stump path, everything changed. In addition, garbage collection has also become a kind of entertainment for the family.

Little Emma even left a note for other visitors to not litter in the forest.

"Everyone I know behaves like this. There is not even anyone in the company with a different mindset. I don't understand how it is possible to litter such beautiful places," said Anna.

After completing the walk and cleaning, the family doubts that the next day will be as clean. However, Emma assures that she will clean until everyone understands how good it is to always live cleanly.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Kropyvnytskyi twin, teenagers Sofya and Kateryna Lyakh created the Green Line Krop project to spread the culture of plogging, that is, a movement that combines garbage collection and running. They have already joined the fitness trend townspeople holding actions in parks, forests and on the beach.
