The amount of damages reaches 120 thousand hryvnias

In Volyn, poachers killed three wild boars in the Volodymyr-Volyn forest hunting farm near the village of Zaturtsi.

This is a gross violation of hunting rules, because hunting is prohibited during martial law, the press service of the Volyn Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting reports on Facebook.

Employees of the state forest protection discovered the violation on December 6 and called the police.

"It is generally difficult for an adequate person to analyze the moral side of the situation. We hope that the investigation will establish the identity of the poachers. And they will be fully responsible for their crime," the press service emphasized.

The report noted that the amount of damage caused to the state hunting fund is 120,000 hryvnias.

Earlier, EcoPollitic wrote, that the ecologists from the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center criticized the actions of the police of the Boryspil District Department of the Kyiv Region regarding poachers who brutally killed a deer in the reserve. The law enforcement officers returned the car to the perpetrators, and improvised means, such as a thermal imager, do not appear in the case file at all, although they were present at the time of the arrest.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, due to Russian troops mining the perimeter of the station, during the last three months more than 30 dogs, foxes and wild boars were blown up.
