Solar panels will significantly save budget funds

A 10 kW solar power plant has been installed on the roof of the Administrative Services Center (ASC) in Illintsi, Vinnytsia region.

The solar power plant will be able to fully ensure the work of the institution in the summer and on sunny days, the Illintsi city territorial community reports on Facebook.

It is noted that from now on, the institution will be able to operate regardless of the availability of current in the city's power grid due to the backup power supply from the SPP.

"10 kW is enough to provide electricity to the ASC premises and provide services to hromada residents even in critical circumstances with power supply. In addition, solar panels make it possible to significantly save budget funds in summer and on sunny days, as the solar station fully covers the ASC's electricity needs at this time." said Yevhen Shmyhora, head of the Central National Agricultural Service's Department.

The report emphasized that the SPP was installed thanks to the energy independence project of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP program.

The press service added that ASC also has a powerful generator that will be used in case of power outages and adverse weather conditions.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that, solar power plants will be installed on the buildings of Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) in Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, and Odesa regions.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, a 100 kW solar power plant was installed on the roof of the Vinnytsia tram depot of the Vinnytsia Transport Company in Vinnytsia.
