HEMPY UA will create 1,400 new jobs and a platform for scientific research

The first HEMPY UA industrial eco-park was created in Rivne region in Dubensky district, which will combine the production of various products from industrial hemp.

On the territory of the Privilena rural community, technical hemp will be grown and a full cycle of its processing with added value will be created, reports the head of the Rivne OVA Vitaly Koval in Telegram.

He said that the eco-park has already been connected to the necessary infrastructure and all the necessary procedures have been completed.

Koval emphasized that the area of ​​the park reaches 43 hectares. It is planned that enterprises will function in it in the following areas:

  • recycling of secondary resources;
  • food production;
  • textile light industry;
  • construction, furniture materials, etc.

He added that the park will help revive technical hemp farming in the region.

"Industrial parks are about the development of the region. The creation of "HEMPY UA" will form a favorable investment climate, increase the level of innovation and investment capacity of the region, create about 1,400 new jobs and provide opportunities for scientific research and project activities," Koval emphasized.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Rivne region, Ukrteplo LLC planted 11 hectares of energy willow seedlings on the territory of Dyadkovytsia village community. The plantation was established on land unsuitable for agriculture.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the American company World Energy wants to invest in a new enterprise for the production of sustainable motor fuel based on rapeseed, sunflower and fat processing products in the Rivne region.
