In the Rivne region, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the growth of alternative energy capacities has reached 24.4%.

It is noted that more than a thousand households in the region have installed solar panels for their own needs and sell electricity at a green tariff. The total capacity of such stations is 29.5 MW.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the Rivne region, the Kostopil glassworks factory built its own solar power plant with a capacity of 2 MW. This is the first enterprise in Ukraine that uses green energy for the production of glass. In one month, thanks to her work, she was able to reduce the company's emissions by 98 tons of CO2.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Kyiv, in the yard of a high-rise building in Poznyaki, the owner of a Tesla Model S has set up a charging station with solar panels and a wind generator.
