At the same time, repair work is ongoing, so there may be restrictions in case of increased load

In Odesa and Odesa district, stabilization outage schedules are not applied due to green generation – wind and solar.

This was reported by DTEK.

"Green generation – wind and solar power plants that provide additional power – also helps us avoid outages. However, repair works are ongoing and there are still grid restrictions," said Dmytro Grigoriev, CEO of DTEK Odesa Power Grids.

Due to the warm weather and reduced electricity consumption, blackouts are being avoided.

Power engineers and authorities urge to conserve electricity: do not plug in energy-intensive appliances at the same time, use them alternately, and, if possible, move the operation of energy-intensive equipment to nighttime.

As Ecopolitic previously reported, in Kharkiv, a solar power plant and a generator installed on the roof of one of the buildings of Hospital No. 17 provided 22 kWh of electricity during the blackout.
