In the Kharkiv region, eco-inspectors calculated 2.2 million hryvnias in damages and presented a claim to the Izyum Municipal Industrial Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprise for taking water from artewells without a special permit.
This became one of the most high-profile violations of environmental protection legislation in the week since November 10 to 16 , reports the State Environmental Inspection on Facebook.
The message said that a number of large-scale violations were also found in:
- In the Volyn region – illegal sand mining in Dubivsk community for more than 86.1 million hryvnias and for 23.1 million hryvnias in Lublynetsk community;
- Ternopil region – felling of 43 poplars along the highway near Husyatyn, which caused damages in the amount of UAH 1.9 million;
- Odesa region – catch of fish worth 1.2 million hryvnias Kugurlui (Izmail district) and for 703 thousand hryvnias in the Dniester estuary (Bilhorod-Dniester district);
- In the Mykolaiv region – felling of trees and setting up a construction waste dump on the territory of the park-monument of horticultural art of local importance "Park Peremogy", which caused damages in the amount of UAH 1.6 million.
It is noted that the case materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies.
The press service said that during eco-inspectors spent a week 116 control measures and made 219 protocols on administrative offenses. The total amount of imposed fines is 52, I thousands of hryvnias. Charged to the State Budget 71 one thousand hryvnias
The message added that:
- for violation of the requirements of environmental protection legislation, damages were calculated in the amount of 119.1 one million hryvnias;
- the total amount of submitted claims and lawsuits is 2.9 million hryvnias;
- 1.3 million hryvnias in damages were collected voluntarily and forcibly.
As EcoPolitic reported earlier, in the Kyiv region, the municipal enterprise "Combination of Communal Enterprises of the city of Vasylkov" without permits pumped groundwater for 4.73 million UAH.
