The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Svetlana Grinchuk, from her position on issues of European integration.

The representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada announced the changes in the personnel block, reports Taras Melnychuk on Telegram.

She was appointed to the position on July 29, 2022, by order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 661. Grinchuk was responsible for the system of monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions, as well as for the emissions trading system.

Melnychuk noted that the Cabinet also dismissed two deputy ministers of health care, and Deputy Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for Arts and Art Education.

The Government also dismissed the head of the State Service of Sea and Inland Water Transport and Shipping and appointed Ignatenko Yevgeny to this position.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the Cabinet of Ministers, on May 13, 2022, dismissed three deputy ministers of protection of the environment and natural resources.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources for European Integration Svitlana Grynchuk said that due to Russian aggression, pollution is increasing, which will negatively affect the environment of the entire European continent.
