The Economic Court of Lviv Region ordered RSV Construction LLC to eliminate a spontaneous landfill on a communal plot on the outskirts of Lviv.
This was reported by Zaxid.net.
According to the decision of judge Olena Shchygelska, the company must bring the municipal plot into proper condition and eliminate the spontaneous landfill of construction, household and other waste with an approximate area of 2500 square meters. This decision can be appealed.
The plaintiff in the case was the Lviv City Council with the participation of the State Environmental Inspectorate in Lviv Oblast.
It turned out that in 2020 the company leased this land plot from the Lviv City Council until 2028. It planned to build a commercial and office building at 151 Kulparkivska Street.
In February, the State Ecological Inspectorate in Lviv Oblast found unauthorized dumps of solid household waste, used car tires, and plastic on the site during an inspection.
The eco-inspectors sent the inspection materials to the prosecutor's office. The Lviv City Council supported the prosecution's lawsuit against RSV Construction Ltd. with the demand to liquidate the spontaneous landfill and return the communal plot to its previous state.
According to Zaxid.net, the owner of the company is Volodymyr Dvoryanyn, a resident of Lviv. He owns a number of companies engaged in the restaurant business and trade, including Meat Club LLC, Churchill LLC, and Garasu LLC.
Recently, EcoPolitiс reported on the claims of the regional branches of the State Environmental Inspectorate to village councils in Poltava and Cherkasy regions for unauthorized landfills on their territory, the total damage from which amounts to more than UAH 8.6 million.
