The renovation will also allow significant energy savings

In Kropyvnytskyi, they plan to complete the global reconstruction of the treatment facilities in October, which is being carried out for the first time since their construction in 1974.

The facilities have already launched the third of three bioreactors for biological treatment of wastewater, which experts have converted from an aerotent, the Dnipro-Kirovograd OKPP reports in Telegram.

It is noted that in early September, public utilities plan to launch a fourth secondary sump.

“We will only have to work on the improvement and installation and debugging of the automation of the cabinet for transferring treatment facilities to automatic mode. By the end of October, we plan to complete all the work on the reconstruction of treatment facilities, ”the Dnipro-Kirovograd OKPP said.

The message explained that the water from the treatment facilities after treatment is discharged into the environment. Therefore, they must be safe.

It is noted that the modernization is carried out at the expense of the World Bank. In addition to modern cleaning methods, the reconstruction will significantly save energy.

“The main thing is a positive impact on the ecology of the region. Because our children and grandchildren live here, ”communal workers emphasized.

Recall, in the Lviv region, the construction of a sewerage network in the city of Glynyany, which began in 2014, is planned to be completed by the end of 2023.

As EcoPolitics reported earlier, in Transcarpathia, in the resort town of Solotvyno, are overloaded and operate inefficiently, due to which undertreated effluents pollute the Khustets River, a tributary of the transboundary Tisza.
