Energy savings for each of them range from 43 to 53%.

4 homeowners' associations (HOAs) In Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad region have carried out complex thermal modernization of their buildings under the Energodom program, which is expected to help residents save on heating.

This information was reported by the Energy Efficiency Fund.

“Dniprovska riviera-20”, “Flahman-3”, “Fortuna-4” and “Harmoniia-20” HOAs took part in the program. Their buildings are almost 40 years old. They have long been in need of renovation due to worn-out utility systems, heat loss caused by old windows and uninsulated facades.

When the buildings were thermally modernized, the facades were completely insulated, new energy-efficient windows and doors were installed in common areas, the heating system was modernized, individual heating points were installed, and other work was done.

According to the chairman of all the HOAs Vitalii Yushko, the changes were immediately noticeable after the work was completed. The entrances got warmer even on the coldest winter days, and the residents' homes were free of drafts and excessive humidity. In addition, heating bills have been cut by almost half. In total, the annual savings for all four HOAs will exceed 7.1 million UAH. For one apartment with an area of 60 m², the estimated savings differ from building to building and amount to 9.8-14.6 thousand UAH per year.
