Next year, a golf course for veterans will be built on the territory of the Hrybovychi training ground, which will become part of the Unbroken ecosystem.
According to Mykhailo Shevchenko, head of the city's Department of Architecture, their main goal is to create a comfortable space that will meet the requirements for rehabilitation of war veterans. The plan is to set up a golf course where 10 people can train at the same time. There will also be places for rest and changing clothes.
The total cost of the second phase of reclamation is over €8 million. The project is being financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.

Reclamation at the Hrybovytske landfill has been underway since 2020 to prevent further soil contamination and improve the lives of local residents.
In the first part of 2025, we completed the first stage of reclamation with a total cost of almost EUR 18 million. The second phase is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025 and is estimated to cost almost EUR 9 million.
According to Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, the second phase of reclamation involves half a meter of soil that will completely cover the entire body of the landfill. In addition, 400 kilowatts of electricity is generated every hour, which we take by processing biogas.
