They once again called on people not to burn deadwood and to protect nature

During the day, 1263 ecosystem fires occurred in Ukraine. At the same time, more than 966 hectares of Ukrainian wildlife throughout Ukraine were affected.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Firefighters have sadly stated that people keep burning deadwood despite prohibitions, fines, and daily warnings from rescue teams.

Firefighters extinguished 96 fires in the Vinnytsia region. They started in all districts of the region over an area of more than 78 hectares.

A total of 145 fires broke out in the Lviv region. They destroyed all wildlife on an area of more than 28 hectares. Rescuers prevented further damage by saving 14 buildings and a vehicle.

Firefighters extinguished 92 fires over an area of about 6 hectares in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The firefighters wrote 17 administrative reports against the arsonists.

In the Cherkasy region, rescuers extinguished 57 fires. The largest number of fires was recorded in Cherkasy district. A 71-year-old man was injured in the village of Moshny. He received minor burns.

Firefighters of the Khmelnytsky region extinguished 43 fires in a day. The fire covered an area of over 133 thousand square meters. In some cases, the fire nearly approached residential buildings. However, rescue teams stopped the fire immediately and prevented it from spreading.
