Damages from the destruction of the building of family dispensary No. 1 reached 115.6 million hryvnias

Eco-inspectors calculated 17.6 million hryvnias in damages from the debris of the maternity hospital and women's counseling center in Mykolaiv after the spring shelling by Russian troops.

In addition, rocket attacks in September damaged the buildings of the family outpatient clinic No. 1 and No. 2, which littered the land for 122.5 million hryvnias, the State Environmental Inspection of the South-West District reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the total area of blockage reached 832.8 m2, and the volume of generated waste is 23 m3 from the shelling of the maternity hospital on March 21 and the women's consultation on April 4. Damages from the blockage from the destruction of the maternity hospital reached 9.6 million hryvnias, and from the women's consultation - 8 million.

"Information about the damage has been entered into the general register of damages caused to the environment as a result of the invasion of the Russian Federation," the message emphasized.

The message added that on August 1, the building of the family clinic No. 2 was destroyed. Its debris created 0.5 m3 of waste, which littered 603 m2 of territory. Eco-inspectors calculated 6.9 million hryvnias of damage to the environment.

In addition, on September 4, Russian troops destroyed the building of family outpatient clinic No. 1, which caused damage of 115.6 million hryvnias. The debris created 30 m3 of waste and littered 2922 m2 of land.

"The Joint Inspectorate continues to calculate the damage caused by armed aggression," the message emphasized.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the eco-inspectors calculated over 562 million hryvnias in damages from littering of land with waste from the destruction of schools and universities in the Mykolaiv region during July-September 2022.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in the Mykolaiv region, repeated shelling by Russian troops of the State Enterprise "Mykolaiv Forestry" caused large-scale fires that caused damage to the environment in the amount of more than 111 million hryvnias.
