In March, residents and guests of Khmelnytskyi will be able to safely dispose of batteries, fluorescent lamps, household chemicals, medicines, etc.
During the month, an ecobus will run through the city, reports the public organization "Smart Environment. Khmelnytskyi" on Facebook.
It is noted that the mobile point will work until March 26.
Ecobus will collect:
- batteries and accumulators;
- fluorescent lamps;
- thermometers and mercury-containing materials;
- paints, glues, solvents (with containers);
- electrical and electronic equipment;
- detergents, household chemicals (with container);
- expired medications.
Such garbage cannot be thrown into the general container, because it has an extremely negative effect on the environment. But thanks to the ecobus, it will be processed, stored or disposed of.

- March 22, 12:00-17:00 – Ozerna microdistrict, str. Zaliznyaka, 4, Dobroho dnya pharmacy.
- March 23, 12:00-17:00 - Vystavka microdistrict, polytechnic college, Zarichanska Street, 10;
- March 24, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Zagotzerno district, "Shoes for your family" store, 38 Kamianetska street;
- March 25, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Rakove microdistrict, str. Garrison "Hotel-dormitory";
- March 26, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Tsentralnyi district, Children's World shopping center, str. Kamianetska, 19.
As EcoPolitic reported earlier, it was developed and made public in Khmelnytskyi project of the Action Plan "Green City" and the Strategic Environmental Assessment Report, which will serve as a roadmap for improving the city's environmental status.
