Electric vehicles of the Korean automotive industry became the leaders of the top

Experts have released a list of 10 electric vehicles to watch out for in the first quarter of 2025.

According to Autocar, the list includes electric vehicles with the best combination of price, range, and innovation.

Top 10 best electric cars of the first half of 2025:

1) Kia EV3;

2) Hyundai Ioniq 5 N;

3) Cupra Born;

4) Renault 5 EV;

5) Volkswagen ID.7;

6) Porsche Taycan;

7) Rolls-Royce Spectre;

8) Tesla Model 3;

9) BMW i7;

10) Skoda Elroq.

The Kia EV3 was named the best electric car of 2025. It is a Korean compact electric crossover that has been in production since 2024.

Experts said that the Kia EV3 has a long range for its segment, as well as a very convenient infotainment system. Another advantage of the model is its spacious interior and roomy trunk.

“Although the EV3 is not a game changer, as it may seem at first glance, it is still a significant achievement and makes this class of cars a little more competitive,” said Autocar road tester Ilya Verpraet.

We would like to remind EcoPolitics readers that in August, for the first time in the history of the Ukrainian car market, the share of electric car sales accounted for about 50% of the total volume of passenger cars sold.

Electric vehicles already account for 28% of Ukraine's car fleet, although just a few months ago they did not exceed a quarter. According to experts' forecasts, the figures may grow even more by the end of September, as electric vehicles are being actively imported to Ukraine from China, the US, and Europe.

We also recommend reading about how Ukrainian drivers most often bought electric cars in Lviv and Kyiv in August.

In total, 7,900 electric cars were added to Ukraine's car fleet in August.
