In Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, due to dry weather and strong squally wind, firefighters have to make extraordinary efforts to localize and eliminate large fires.

In the Poltava region, the fire has already passed 680 hectares. Currently, dry grass and forest litter are burning on an area of about 70 hectares. A fire broke out near the village of Malaya Pereshchepina, Poltava region. 411 firefighters and 67 pieces of equipment were involved in its extinguishing.

5 houses and 7 farm buildings in Sobkivka and Balivka villages have already been damaged. Firefighters evacuated 6 residents, city authorities evacuated 7 residents of the village of Mankivka.

Rescuers also had to evacuate 57 passengers of the Poltava-Kobelyaki electric train.

In Kharkiv region near the village of Vasishcheve, Kharkiv district, more than 25 hectares of forest were engulfed in fire. The fire took place on September 15 at noon. Both 82 rescuers and 16 units of basic equipment, as well as 27 forestry workers and 14 units of forestry equipment, are taming the flames.

In Donetsk region For two days, firefighters extinguished a large-scale fire in the Lyman Forestry. It arose due to Russian shelling. A strong gust of wind immediately spread the fire hundreds of meters deep into the forest. It has already covered more than 240 hectares.

Firefighters use UAVs to constantly monitor the situation from the air. They are also on duty near populated areas to prevent the fire from spreading.

In Dnipropetrovsk region emergency workers managed to localize a large-scale fire that occurred in the village of Elizavetivka, Dnipro district. Initially, its area was 4 hectares, but due to strong gusts of wind, it spread to an area of ​​47 hectares.

Firefighters were able to save the cottages of the "Green Park" recreation center, which is located nearby.

75 rescuers and 11 units of emergency services were working on the spot.
