Do not let pets out for a walk

Zoo volunteers will catch homeless animals for sterilization in the Dnipro district of Kyiv for two weeks.

This is reported by the Animal Protection Center on Facebook.

The Center notes that the capture and sterilization of homeless cats and dogs will take place alternately in several locations of the Dnipro district:

  • April 16 – st. Azerbaijanska Street Prague, str. Khorolsk;
  • April 19 — str. Kastusya Kalinovskyi, av. Karmelyuka;
  • April 23 — DVRZ str. Almaty, from #1 to #60;
  • April 26 — DVRZ str. Almaty, from #62 to #110;
  • April 30 — DVRZ str. Engineer Borodin, ave. Byshivskyi, st. Vasyl Vyshivany.

"In 7-9 days after capture, the animals will be returned to their previous places of stay," the center reports.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the Gostomel shelter in the Kyiv region provides free chipping and vaccination services for animals of the local community.
