In Rakhiv district, rescuers and foresters extinguished a fire on the territory of the Lazeshchyna forestry.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region on Facebook.
The rescue service received a report of a fire in the Yasinya forestry and hunting grounds. According to SES estimates, the fire area, at the time of elimination, was about 6 hectares.
125 rescuers and 17 units of equipment from two regions went to the scene:
- 45 specialists and 2 units of equipment from the forest farm;
- 66 Transcarpathian rescuers and 11 vehicles;
- 14 firefighters from the Ivano-Frankivsk region on four units of equipment.
2 unmanned aerial vehicles were used to monitor the situation.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, as of March, 343 fires were registered in Poltava Oblast, which is 75% more than last year. The fire destroyed dry vegetation on a total area of 288.7 hectares.
