Three landfills of household waste were discovered on the territory of the Dachna Village Council

In Odesa, in Velikodolinska, 6 spontaneous landfills were discovered in Vyhodyansk and Dachnensk communities.

The area of ​​the landfill on the territory of the Velikodolyna settlement council reached 5 hectares, the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District reports on Facebook.

It is noted that the territory of the communities was inspected by eco-inspectors together with representatives of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Odesa District Military Administration. The commission had to identify landfills and take measures to eliminate them.

The report said that most of the only landfill in the Velikodolinska community is located on the territory of private property.

"Currently, the local self-government body is working on its liquidation," the message emphasized.

It is noted that 2 garbage dumps were discovered on the territory of the Vyhoda village council outside the villages of Vyhoda and Berezivka. The tender procedure for determining the service provider for the liquidation of the specified waste dumps is ongoing.

The message added that 3 landfills for household waste were discovered on the territory of the Dachna Village Council:

  • on the territory of the State Enterprise "Experimental Base "Dachne";
  • outside the village Dacha;
  • outside the village Joyful

"The local self-government body has been notified of the need to take measures in accordance with the delegated powers in the field of waste management, the owner of which has not been established," the press service said.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Odesa, eco-inspectors discovered a quarry where the carcasses of goats, sheep and other livestock, as well as the remains of animals after slaughter, were dumped from a neighboring farm.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Kryvyi Rih, in the village of Rudnychne, trucks were taken to a spontaneous landfill several times during the month spoiled bread and one that has not yet expired. Violators will face a fine of over three thousand hryvnias.
