In 2024, the company plans to implement medium-sized projects

Head of Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov said that the company decided to invest in the construction of two wind and one solar power plants.

The company plans to start investing in these projects in 2023, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

It is noted that Chernyshov spoke about the plans of Naftogaz at the forum "Ukrainian Success Formula. Big Day with NV".

He explained that two wind energy projects are being implemented in the south of Ukraine.

"We will also increase our presence in solar energy, build new stations," said Chernyshov.

He noted that Naftogaz considers it necessary to develop green energy even during the war.

"We do not have "Napoleonic" plans for 2024, we will start with medium-sized projects," Chernyshov added.

He promised to reveal the details of the projects later.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that NAC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" refused to build a powerful biofuel CHP plant worth 1 billion hryvnias in Lviv.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Company "DTEK VDE" has started preparations for the construction of a powerful wind park in Poltava region on the territory of the Globyn community. This will provide the energy-deficient region with electricity and increase Ukraine's energy security.
