People's deputies will consider only one bill

On Friday, September 15, a meeting of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Environmental Policy and Nature Management will be held via video conference at 2:00 p.m.

EcoPolitic prepared for its readers the agenda of the committee.

People's deputies will consider draft law No. 9274 "On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine on clarifying the powers of civil protection entities, improving legislation on protecting the population and territories from the consequences of emergency situations, organizing and carrying out evacuation of the population, ensuring the protection of life and health citizens".

The document regarding which the eco-committee is determined to be the main one will be considered before the second reading.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in August, the parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management recommended that the Verkhovna Rada adopt for voting and as a whole draft law No. 6004-d "On ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens to an environment safe for life and health" ( "On industrial pollution").

As EcoPolitic previously reported, on August 30, the ecocommittee reviewed and approved the report on its work for the period of the ninth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation (February – August 2023).
