The tractor can be used as a mobile power plant that can power an entire house

Vasyl Letnyanchyn, a native of Lviv, developed the Kolos electric tractor, which has a power of 24 horsepower, a battery capacity of 21.5-25.6 kWh, and a 340 W solar panel.

Such a tractor is more expensive than traditional ones running on fossil fuel, but with constant use it pays for itself in two years, reports SEEDS.

It is noted that Kolos electric tractors have already received favorable reviews from Ukrainian farmers. They can be used for:

  • mowing the grass;
  • landing;
  • plowing;
  • drilling;
  • with the help of "Kolos" nozzles, it can be used as a fine grinder and electric saw.

The article emphasized that the tractor can serve as a mobile power plant capable of powering an entire house. It has an outlet to which you can connect both household appliances and equipment necessary for farmers, for example, a lawnmower or an electric watering can.

"It all started with a toy for my son. I decided to make him an electric car. We understood how everything works, what must be taken into account when manufacturing a real car. My father made the mechanical part, he did the electrical work himself, and my uncle, who worked all his life as a turner at the Drohobytsky Crane Plant, helped," said Letnyanchyn.

The inventor had the idea of producing tractors for the Ukrainian consumer. Now it is a factory for small-scale production of equipment. And the plans include the production of more powerful 50 hp machines. with a larger battery.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the founder of vertical farms in Dnipro Green Future, Viktor Shuleshko, said that thanks to his own invention of agro-lighting, his farm became the most energy-efficient in the world – 30% more efficient than other industry leaders.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, the Ukrainian start-up Releaf Paper began building the first factory in France for the production of eco-packaging from fallen leaves.
