Our Kyiv said that a summer cafe covered with an awning was built on this site without permits. It sold alcoholic beverages and snacks for the townspeople relaxing by the lake.

As you know, Lake Vyrlytsia has a natural origin, but during the development of the district, it significantly increased in size. The lake is home to rare birds, fish and plants. They plan to create a protected object in Vyrlytsa.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in January 2022 in Kyiv near the Kharkivska metro station and Lake Vyrlytsia, unknown persons set up a large dump of building materials, foam, stones, pieces of concrete and old furniture.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in April 2021 developers of Lake Vyrlytsia in Kyiv destroyed bird nests and buried fish spawn in order to arrange a shopping center site.
