The most popular models of electric cars are NISSAN and VOLKSWAGEN

In Ukraine, from January to June 2023, 12,600 electric vehicles (BEVs) were added to the fleet of carbon-neutral transport, which is three times more than in 2022.

The number of used electric vehicles reached 9.8 thousand, Ukravtoprom reports on Telegram.

The message emphasized that the share of new electric cars increased from 18% in 2022 to 22%, i.e. 2.8 thousand units.

It is noted that the TOP-5 new electric cars on the market include the following models:

  1. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 899 units;
  2. DONGFENG/HONDA M-NV – 497 units;
  3. VOLKSWAGEN ID.6 – 168 units;
  4. HONDA e – 146 units;
  5. BMW iX – 87 units.

TOP-5 used electric cars registered for the first time in Ukraine:

  1. NISSAN Leaf – 1921 units;
  2. VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf – 940 units;
  3. TESLA Model 3 – 908 units;
  4. VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 – 724 units;
  5. TESLA Model Y – 637 units.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that, Ukrainians purchased 3,200 new and used electric cars in March, which became a new record.

As previously reported by EcoPolitics, in 2022, sales of electric vehicles around the world increased and accounted for about 10% of the total market, thanks to significant growth in China and Europe. Sales of electric vehicles reached 7.8 million units, which is 68% more than in 2021
