The court opened criminal proceedings

In Kyiv, in the Poznyaki microdistrict, the cafe owners built an establishment near the Silver Kil lake on a plot worth 20 million hryvnias without permission.

Prosecutors demand through the court to return the plot to the Kyiv community and demolish the building, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reports.

It is noted that the owners of the cafe, contrary to the decision of the Darnytskyi District Court, did not demolish the building and added it to the authorized capital of the company. In addition, the company registered the ownership of this property and continued to use the plot of land of the water fund of communal property without legal documents.

Prosecutors demand to eliminate obstacles in the ownership and management of the land plot by canceling the state registration of ownership, declaring the deeds invalid and returning the land plot.

Currently, the court has opened criminal proceedings on this claim.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that the director of the private firm that built the protected Dolobetsky Island will be tried in Kyiv. He is suspected of intentionally damaging the object of the nature reserve fund, forging documents and abuse of authority.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, criminal proceedings were opened in Kyiv against criminals who sawed down two two hundred-year-old oak trees on Beresteysky prospect near the Zhytomyrska metro station.
