The message emphasizes that the State Environmental Inspection is currently calculating the damage caused to the environment.

Some representatives of the Zakarpattia community actively opposed the relocation of wind farms from the east of Ukraine, arguing their position with the negative impact of wind farms on ecosystems. However, wind energy is the most eco-friendly type of renewable energy and has relatively low indicators of negative impact on the environment.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Transcarpathia, eco-inspectors discovered that one of the Ukrainian wind energy companies removed the soil cover on an area of about 350 m2 without the appropriate procedure on the territory of Lyutyanska Golytsia mountain in the Polonyn range.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, in Zakarpattia, eco-inspectors involved border guards to detect environmental violations. After all, they use aviation and carry out thorough photo and video shooting.
