The territory of the nature reserve fund was damaged

In the Luhansk region alone, losses from the occupiers' war crimes against the environment since February 24, 2022 amounted to more than 475 billion hryvnias.

Such calculations were carried out by the State Environmental Inspection in Luhansk region, the Luhansk RMA reports in Telegram. The reason was the partial destruction of the Luhansk region's forest fund on an area of more than 26,000 hectares. The total amount of damage from the destruction of the forest fund amounts to more than 180 billion hryvnias.

As a result of the fires, the territory of the nature reserve fund was damaged. Namely: National Nature Park Kreminski lisy, hydrological reserve of local importance Kreminski Kaptazhi and part of the Luhansk Nature Reserve Tryohizbensky Steppe.
