Students of Igor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute collect used disposable electronic cigarettes to support the mine detectors manufacturing laboratory.
Used vapes can be brought to the Rozetka chain of stores, EcoKPI reports on Telegram.
The authors noted that disposable electronic cigarettes help to make the laboratory independent of blackouts.
The report said that Roman Koval, a graduate of KPI, is alone collects metal detectors that are not inferior to German ones. In addition, such metal detectors are more affordable. They are handed over to the State Emergency Service.
"Dozens of his metal detectors are already helping sappers to clear mines in Kyiv region and Chernihiv region", - noted the activists of the charity fund "Solomyan cats".
Activists emphasized that the demining of Ukraine will continue for years, and the need for metal detectors is high.
Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in the summer of 2022, KPI students began collecting used disposable electronic cigarettes to turn them into an element of the drone drop system, which are then sent to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As EcoPolitic previously reported, animal rights activists in Kyiv collect used disposable electronic cigarettes (vapes) to light up the enclosures of their wards.
