You can use affordable eco-alternatives to disposable items

Ukrainian women were urged to give preference to eco-makeup, which, in addition to natural-based cosmetics, is based on the principles of zero waste and waste sorting.

On the Facebook page of the "Eco-pobut" community, activists named the TOP-4 tips for eco-friendly beauty.

  • Buy what you will use;

Eco-activists called on Ukrainian women to buy only the kind of cosmetics that they really need and will use. If the purchase doesn't fit, you can give it away or resell it instead of throwing it in the trash.

  • Recyclable packaging advantage;

The message urged to give preference to products whose packaging can be recycled. When finished, the tube can be taken to a sorting station or in a suitable container.

  • Natural beauty;

"If possible use a minimum of cosmetics. For example, eye pencil, mascara, lip balm. Natural beauty is the most valuable," ecoactivists emphasized.

  • Follow the economic news.

The authors said that certain eco-alternatives to single-use items are already available, such as reusable discs, bamboo cotton swabs, etc.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that in Lubotyn, in the Kharkiv region, eco-activists will open reuse cabinets, where people can leave unnecessary things and pick up something for their needs. Literally everything can be given for repurposing: toys, books, furniture, cosmetics, household items and even leftover construction materials.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Ukrainians were urged to use environmentally friendly products eco-tools during cleaning, which will help save money, preserve health and nature.
