Soils suffered the greatest damage

For 11 months of 2022, eco-inspectors calculated more than 1.53 billion hryvnias in damages to the environment caused by violators of environmental legislation.

In other words, environmental violators caused more than 4.5 million hryvnias worth of damage to nature every day, reports State Environmental Inspection on Telegram.

The message noted that from January to November 2022, eco-inspectors conducted more than 6,500 control measures and drew up more than 10,000 administrative protocols in the amount of more than 3.33 million hryvnias.

The press service emphasized that Mr land resources suffered the most damage due to clogging and pollution.

Earlier, Ecopolitic wrote, that in Ukraine during the fire hazard period of 2022 arsonists of dry vegetation were fined 880,000 hryvnias. During this period, eco-inspectors discovered 415 cases of dry burning. Administrative protocols were imposed on the responsible persons.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, eco-inspectors calculated more than 1.5 billion hryvnias of damage to the environment of Ukraine caused by violators of environmental legislation in 10 months of 2022. During this time, about 8,800 violators paid over 2.9 million hryvnias to the state budget.
