The decision has already entered into force

In Volyn, the court finally decided to return land plots with an area of almost 9 hectares and a value of 28 million hryvnias to the state.

It is reported by press service of Volyn regional prosecutor's office.

The North-Western Commercial Court of Appeal left unchanged the decision of the Commercial Court of the Volyn region. With this decision, the court satisfied the claim of the Kamin-Kashir district prosecutor's office in the interests of the state to the Prilisnen village council for the return of the land plot to the state.

"The courts of the first and appellate instances agreed with the arguments of the prosecutors about the illegality of the orders of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the Volyn region, on the basis of which the land plot of the forest fund, which was in the use of the state enterprise "Manevitske Forestry", was unjustifiably classified as agricultural land and subsequently contrary to the requirements of the law, it was transferred to communal property," the message said.

The decision to return the land plot to state ownership has already entered into force.

As EcoPolitic reported earlier, on September 7, the Commercial Court of the Volyn Region decided to return the specified area to the state. But later it was challenged in the appeals court.
