Ukrainians were urged to join the "Warm for tails" initiative, where by playing with virtual animals you can help real dogs and cats survive the winter.
With the collected money, the organizers of the program, the EVA store line and the "Happy Paw" homeless animal aid fund, will purchase booths and firewood to warm and feed the animals, it is stated on the website of initiatives.
"Every homeless dog dreams of falling asleep and waking up in the warmest place on Earth — in the arms of his owner," the program description said. – Our goal is to collect 400,000 hryvnias to provide a warm and comfortable winter for at least 1,500 homeless cats and dogs. The animals will live in brand new hutches, as well as with a supply of firewood for cooking and heating the shelters.”
You can join the collection online on the initiative's website, or at the checkout of EVA stores, by donating at least 1 hryvnia. The collection will last until January 7, 2023.
On the website of the initiative, you can pet a cat, throw a ball to a dog or walk an animal.
