Demolition waste can be used in the production of building materials

In the Kyiv region, an interactive map was created of all the places with the waste of destruction, which were formed as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation.

Eco-inspectors compiled a list of places for temporary placement of such waste, Pavlo Ivanov, head of the State Environmental Inspection of the Capital District, reports on Facebook.

He explained that it is necessary to prevent the destructive impact of improper processing and harmful disposal of war waste on the territory of Ukraine. After all, unexploded shells and debris from them, burned vehicles and military equipment, used disposable NLAW systems, batteries and ruins of buildings remain in cities, towns, fields, beaches, in water and on land after hostilities.

"Today, the work on dismantling the rubble formed as a result of hostilities and cleaning settlements from the debris of destroyed objects continues. Such construction waste can be reused not only during the restoration of damaged objects, but also during the production of construction materials," Ivanov said.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that eco-inspectors calculated 47 billion 363 million hryvnias of damage caused by the war to the environment of Kyiv region.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, the Israeli company GreenMix plans to build in the Kyiv region plant for ecological processing of construction waste.
