The district authorities are doing everything possible to prepare for the lack of power supply

In Kyiv, the administration of the Dnipro district plans to install solar panels at heating points that will work in the event of a long-term absence of central heating and electricity.

The district administration will sign a contract with the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Dnipro district administration of Kyiv reports on Facebook.

The Director of the Institute, Professor Stepan Kudrya and heads of relevant departments held a working meeting where they presented complex energy supply systems based on renewable energy sources.

Executor of duties Pavlo Babii, the head of the Dnipro District State Administration, emphasized that the district authorities are doing everything possible to prepare for the lack of electricity in the city and help residents.

The message noted that the Institute's specialists also help the Ukrainian military. They handed over five autonomous portable solar power plants to the Armed Forces.

At the meeting, they decided to conclude a cooperation agreement and start preparatory work for the implementation of the project.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that specialists of the State Energy Efficiency Agency and the Expert Council have prepared practical recommendations for communities and condominiums regarding passage of the autumn-winter period 2022/2023 years.
