Entrepreneurs are asked to limit the use of external lighting of facades

Ukrenergo introduces stricter and longer emergency blackouts in Kyiv and the region, because Russia has again attacked critical energy infrastructure facilities.

Also, Ukrainians, in particular business clients, are urged to reduce electricity consumption as much as possible during the hours of peak loads in the morning and in the evening, KMDA reports on Facebook.

As a result of the shelling of the energy infrastructure in the Kyiv region, there was a capacity deficit of 30% of consumption. The energy company introduces unprecedented emergency restrictions in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.

"The schedules of stabilization shutdowns, which were drawn up the day before, are no longer relevant. Unfortunately, in the coming days, stricter and longer power outages will be applied," the KMDA press service noted.

The message called on Ukrainians to turn on energy-consuming appliances one at a time, as well as to reduce electricity consumption as much as possible in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and in the evening from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

In addition, entrepreneurs are asked to limit the use of external lighting on the facades of offices, restaurants, and shopping centers.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the chairman of the board of NEC "Ukrenergo" said that saving electricity consumption by even 5% helps balance energy systems and reduce the number of forced shutdowns.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, specialists of the analytical center DiXi Group have prepared for Ukrainians advice in case of force majeure outages electricity, water, gas and heat supply.
