Ukrainians were advised to plan their days taking into account stabilization shutdowns

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called on citizens to pay more attention to the need to consciously consume electricity after the attacks on the energy infrastructure on October 22.

He emphasized that the main target of russian terrorists is energy, the President of Ukraine's website reports about it.

"Therefore, please be even more careful than before about the need to consciously consume electricity. The stability of the energy industry of our entire state depends on each city and district of Ukraine," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He called on Ukrainians to limit the use of equipment that consumes a lot of electricity, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening.

"Please pay attention to notifications from local authorities and energy companies about when there may be stabilization outages on your street or in your area. Plan your day, taking this information into account," said the President of Ukraine.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the chairman of the board of NEC "Ukrenergo" said that saving electricity consumption even by 5% helps to balance power systems and reduce the number of forced outages.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, Ukrainians were urged to use energy sparingly and conserve it, because, in addition to reducing the load on networks, this will lead to economic benefits and will improve the state of the environment.
