Vinnytsia residents were urged to take care of the environment and recycle metal waste

Katerina Belousova

Recycled waste can be used to make jewelry, household appliances, and electronics

In Vinnytsia, citizens were urged to hand over metal waste for processing, because high-quality and timely disposal of metal will avoid the harmful effects of toxic substances on the environment.

Such waste contains radioactive, chemical, fire and explosive components that can harm the environment, human and animal health, reports Eko-Service on Facebook.

After processing, materials from metal waste can be used as secondary raw materials.

For example, jewelry, household appliances, and electronics are made from non-ferrous metals. And ferrous metals are used by metallurgical enterprises for the production of various products.

The following can be returned to Eco-Service for recycling:

  • stainless steel;
  • aluminum;
  • copper;
  • brass;
  • lead;
  • black metal;
  • radiators;
  • tin cans from canned goods;
  • lids from cans;
  • aluminum cans and caps from vodka;
  • foil

Eco-Service is located at the address: Vinnytsia, str. Lukyanenko (Vatutina), 19, phone: 098565690.

Earlier, EcoPolitic wrote, that Vinnytsia began to accept free of charge from the population for processing old household appliances, in particular, televisions, washing machines, electric kettles, refrigerators, etc.

As EcoPolitic previously reported, used car tires need proper disposal, which Eco-Service can provide in Vinnytsia.
