Hotel "Kharkiv" was one of the symbols of the city

In Kharkiv, the destruction of the "Kharkiv" hotel by russian troops caused damage to the environment in the amount of 752.3 million hryvnias.

Waste plastic, wood, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass and paper littered 12,980 m2 of the city's territory as a result of the shelling, reports State Inspection on Telegram.

The article noted that the hotel is located in the center of Kharkiv, and its windows looked at Svobody Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe.

On August 8, eco-inspectors inspected the building and found that shelling destroyed the walls of the hotel, damaged windows and doors.

"As a result, land plots with an area of ​​12,980 m2 (volume 12,980 m3) were littered with waste plastic, wood, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass and paper," the report says.

The SEI emphasized that the affected hotel "Kharkiv" was one of the symbols of the city.
